안녕하십니까? 따스한 봄날입니다. “말이 오르면 나라도 오른다.”라고 가르치신 주시경 선생님의 말씀처럼 바야흐로 우리말에 대한 나라와 사회의 관심이 높아지고 있으니, 나라의 기운도 나날이 뻗어나가는 듯합니다.

잘 아시는 바와 같이 올해는 한글날을 국경일로서 기리는 첫해입니다. 그동안 국어단체연합이 문화관광부의 의뢰를 받아 준비한 ‘한글날 경축 온 누리 큰 잔치’ 기획안을 여러 차례에 걸쳐서 자료를 수집하고 토론하여 정리하였습니다.

이 정리한 안을 가지고 각계의 인사들이 참여하는 공청회를 다음과 같이 열어 여러 가지 의견을 수렴하고자 하오니 참석하여 자리를 빛내 주시길 바랍니다.
